Metronidazole 400mg tablets is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial vaginosis aswell as other type of infections such as mouth infections. How to take Metronidazole 400mg tablets:

Metronidazole is suitable for adults and should be taken orally. It should be taken twice a day for 5 to 7 days. This medication should be taken with or after meals. The course should be completed to ensure the infection is properly treated

Metronidazole side effects

If you have severe liver or kidney disease please speak to your GP before taking. The most common side effects are stomach irritation, pain and a metallic taste in the mouth, however a full list can be found by clicking here.

Do not take this medication if you are pregnant or breast feeding or have severe liver/kidney problems unless your GP has advised and prescribed it for you.
