Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream gets to work quickly to relieve both aspects of infected, inflamed sweat rash, easing the inflammation, redness and itching and treating the fungal and bacterial infection. You can only use Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream for 7 days to treat infected, inflamed sweat rash. After this, if you still have some evidence of the sweat rash you can switch to Daktarin Cream, which is a fungal infection treatment similar to Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream – but is not anti-inflammatory. Daktarin Powder is available if you wish to powder the area, after the initial treatment with Daktacort Hydrocortisone Cream, to keep it dry and prevent relapse.
