After undertaking a Masteru2019s programme at John Mooreu2019s University in Liverpool and qualifying as a Pharmacist, Amjad has worked in community pharmacy for over 16 years.u00a0
As a qualified independent prescriber, he has also taken further training in minor illness management, spending 6 months in urgent care settings under the supervision of Advanced Practitioners and GPs, learning to make clinical decisions on many day-to-day illnesses from ear infections to abdominal complaints and more.
Amjad has also undertaken further learning and clinical development to provide weight loss services, quit smoking services, asthma clinics, cryotherapy and travel vaccinations.
