Trimovate Cream is used for the treatment of dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis. It helps to effectively manage the uncomfortable symptoms these skin conditions cause, such as redness, itching, and swelling.

How does Trimovate Cream work?

Clobetasone, one of the cream’s active ingredients, stops the skin cells from producing chemicals that cause the skin to become red, swollen and itchy. Another one of its active ingredients, Oxytetracycline, is an antibiotic that helps kill skin bacteria, while Nystatin is an antifungal medication that treats fungal infections.

Who Can Use Trimovate Cream?

Trimovate Cream is suitable for most adults. However, it is not suitable if you:

  • Are allergic to any of its listed ingredients
  • Want to treat any of the following conditions:

  • Rosacea

Trimovate Cream FAQs

You can buy Trimovate Cream online from our online eczema & dermatitis treatment clinic by completing a free consultation. Once approved by a licensed pharmacist, your prescription will be delivered with fast and free delivery options available.

Trimovate Cream should only be applied to your face if you’ve been medically advised. The skin on your face is more sensitive, and steroid creams like Trimovate can cause skin thinning and other issues.

Using Trimovate Cream for a long time can lead to skin thinning, increased risk of skin infections, and other side effects. Always follow the treatment duration your doctor or a pharmacist has advised.

If you miss a dose, apply the cream as soon as you remember unless it’s almost time for your next dose. In that case, skip the missed dose and continue your usual schedule. Do not apply more cream to make up for a missed dose.

If you’re pregnant, might be pregnant, planning on getting pregnant or breastfeeding, speak with a doctor or pharmacist before using this cream.

Trimovate Cream can interact with other topical medications, leading to increased side effects or decreased effectiveness. It’s important to let your doctor or pharmacist know about all other medications you are using before starting Trimovate Cream.

Trimovate Cream should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat, and the lid should be kept tightly closed when not in use.

It’s typically advised to wait until Trimovate has been fully absorbed into the skin before applying other skincare products to prevent the cream’s dilution and ensure its effectiveness.

While using Trimovate, avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning beds, and protect the treated areas with clothing or sunscreen. Additionally, avoid using other topical treatments on the area without having been advised, as this may affect the cream’s effectiveness or increase the risk of side effects.
