Naproxen Gastro-resistant Tablets are a type of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). They are designed to be resistant to stomach acid, which helps to reduce stomach-related side effects. The active ingredient, Naproxen, works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
Naproxen Gastro-resistant Tablets are primarily used for pain relief. They can help to alleviate pain and inflammation caused by conditions such as arthritis, gout, muscle sprains and strains, backache, period pain, and dental pain. They can also be used to reduce fever and relieve minor aches and pain due to the common cold or flu.
Naproxen Gastro-resistant Tablets work by blocking the production of prostaglandins, substances in the body that cause inflammation and pain. By reducing the levels of these substances, Naproxen helps to alleviate symptoms of pain and inflammation.
Naproxen Gastro-resistant Tablets are suitable for adults and children over the age of 12 who need relief from pain and inflammation. Other ingredients: The tablets also contain lactose, maize starch, povidone K30, sodium starch glycolate (Type A), magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide (E171), talc, methacrylic acid – ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) dispersion 30 per cent, sodium hydroxide, and purified water.
