Gaviscon Advance provides fast, effective and long lasting relief from heartburn and acid indigestion which can occur after meals or during pregnancy. Can also be used to relieve the symptoms of conditions such as hiatus hernia and reflux oesophagitis (inflamed food pipe). Gaviscon forms a thick layer on top of the stomach contents to prevent acid escaping from the stomach where it works into the food pipe.
