Beconase Aqueous Nasal Spray is a highly effective treatment for relieving allergy symptoms like hay fever.
Beconase is a steroid nasal spray containing beclometasone dipropionate, a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, swelling, and irritation in the nose. By reducing these symptoms, Beconase helps relieve itchy eyes, nasal congestion and a runny nose caused by allergic reactions.

If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it’s close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
Beconase is not known to cause drowsiness and should not affect your ability to drive or operate machinery.
If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, speak with your doctor or pharmacist before using Beconase, as it may not be suitable for you.
Before using Beconase, inform your GP or pharmacist if you are taking any other medications, including over-the-counter or herbal remedies, as some medicines may interact with Beconase.
Though rare, serious side effects, such as allergic reactions causing wheezing or difficulty breathing, swelling around the face or throat, and nasal damage, can occur. If you experience any of these symptoms, please seek medical attention immediately.
Beconase is generally safe for long-term use under medical supervision. However, prolonged use may affect the natural production of steroids in your body. Your GP will ensure you use the lowest effective dose to manage your symptoms.
If Beconase does not improve your symptoms after a few days of use, or if your symptoms worsen, speak with a pharmacist or doctor. Alternatively, there may be other products at our online allergy clinic that will better suit your needs.
Beconase quickly relieves allergy symptoms and can be used to treat and prevent nasal allergies. For prevention, start using the spray a few days before you expect to be exposed to allergens, such as during pollen season.
Contact your doctor for advice if you accidentally use more Beconase than recommended. Do not use more than the prescribed dose, as this can increase the risk of side effects.
