Docusate Capsules are oral capsules containing the active ingredient docusate sodium, which is used to treat constipation. They work by softening the stool, making it easier to pass. In some cases, this medication may also be used to prevent dry, hard stools.
You should swallow Docusate Capsules whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew.
It is usually recommended to take Docusate Capsules once a day. However, the dosage may vary depending on your condition and response to the treatment. You should continue taking this medication for as long as prescribed, even if you start to feel better.
