What is Zineryt Solution?

Zineryt is a skin lotion that helps treat common acne problems like spots and bumps. It has erythromycin and zinc, which work together to kill acne-causing bacteria and reduce redness. Zineryt is recommended for mild to moderate acne. This is a prescription-only medication, which you can do through Click2Pharmacy’s online clinic.

How does Zineryt Solution work?

Zineryt solution for acne contains the active ingredients erythromycin and zinc acetate. Acne suffers have excess sebum, which bacteria (called Propionibacterium) feed on. Propionibacterium produces waste products that cause skin inflammation and infection. Erythromycin is an antibiotic that prevents acne-causing bacteria from multiplying, allowing the skin to restore its natural balance. Erythromycin also combines with zinc acetate to help combat redness and inflammation.

Can I use Zineryt for rosacea?

Zineryt lotion can be prescribed for rosacea, as it can help reduce skin flushing. If you have rosacea, please ask your doctor or pharmacist about treatment options.

Duac has benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin, which also kill bacteria but can be more drying to the skin. Duac is often used for more severe acne, while Zineryt is good for mild to moderate cases.

Zineryt or Aknemycin

Zineryt and Aknemycin are both used to treat acne, but they have some differences. Zineryt has erythromycin and zinc, which help kill bacteria and lessen redness. Aknemycin contains erythromycin and tretinoin, which also fight bacteria but can help with skin renewal. Aknemycin is often used for various types of acne, like spots and bumps. Zineryt is usually for mild to moderate acne.
