Gaviscon Advance Peppermint is designed to relieve and prevent symptoms caused by excess stomach acid, including:

How does Gaviscon Advance work?

Gaviscon Advance contains two active ingredients: sodium alginate and potassium bicarbonate. When swallowed, sodium alginate reacts with stomach acid to form a thick, protective layer on top of your stomach contents. This ‘raft’ acts as a physical barrier, preventing acid from rising into the oesophagus, while potassium bicarbonate helps neutralise excess acid.

How to take Gaviscon Advance Peppermint
