About Once Daily ED Tablets

Once Daily ED Tablets contain tadalafil (2.5mg or 5mg) per tablet, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. Unlike on-demand ED treatments taken immediately before sexual activity, once-daily tadalafil is taken every day at the same time. This continuous low-dose treatment allows for ongoing readiness, enabling spontaneous sexual activity without needing to plan doses around intercourse.

Once Daily ED Tablets are suitable for adult men aged 18 years and over who have sexual activity twice a week or more, and are available in two strengths and multiple pack sizes:

• Once Daily ED Tablets 2.5mg tablets
• Once Daily ED Tablets 5mg tablets

What Are Once Daily ED Tablets Used For?

Once Daily ED Tablets are used to treat erectile dysfunction in men, a condition where a man cannot get, or keep, a hard, erect penis suitable for sexual activity. Tadalafil works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood flow into the penis when sexually aroused.

Who Are Once Daily ED Tablets Suitable For?

Once Daily ED Tablets are suitable for adult men aged 18 and over who experience erectile dysfunction.

Do not use Once Daily ED Tablets if you:

• Are allergic to tadalafil or any of the inactive ingredients
• Are taking any form of nitrates or nitric oxide donors (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate) used to treat chest pain (angina)
• Have serious heart disease or have had a recent heart attack (within the last 90 days)
• Have had a recent stroke (within the last 6 months)
• Have low blood pressure or uncontrolled high blood pressure
• Have ever had loss of vision due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION)
• Are taking riociguat (used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension)

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Have sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, or leukaemia
• Have any anatomical deformation of the penis (such as Peyronie’s disease)
• Have severe liver or kidney problems
• Have heart problems or cardiovascular disease

How to Use Once Daily ED Tablets

1. Take one 5mg (standard dose) or 2.5mg (low dose) tablet once daily, at roughly the same time each day.
2. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
3. Tablets can be taken with or without food.
4. Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it may lower blood pressure and affect erectile performance.
5. Ensure sexual stimulation takes place; daily tadalafil will not produce an erection without arousal.

Do not take more than one tablet daily.

Possible Side Effects of Once Daily ED Tablets

Common side effects:

• Headache
• Back pain or muscle aches
• Facial flushing
• Nasal congestion or runny nose
• Indigestion or acid reflux
• Pain in extremities

Uncommon:

• Dizziness or lightheadedness
• Abdominal pain
• Blurred vision or eye pain
• Pounding heart (palpitations) or fast heart rate

Rare:

• Priapism (a prolonged and painful erection lasting more than 4 hours – requires immediate medical attention)
• Sudden decrease or loss of vision or hearing
• Seizures or temporary memory loss

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Tadalafil 2.5mg or 5mg per tablet.
Other ingredients: Lactose monohydrate, croscarmellose sodium, hydroxypropylcellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium laurilsulfate, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), triacetin, yellow iron oxide (E172), talc.

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose of one tablet daily.
• Do not take alongside other erectile dysfunction treatments unless advised by a doctor.
• Avoid drinking excessive amounts of alcohol when taking tadalafil.
• Grapefruit juice may affect how tadalafil works and should be consumed with caution.
• Seek immediate medical help if you experience an erection lasting longer than 4 hours.

Storage Instructions

• Store below 30°C in original packaging to protect from moisture.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
