Peptac Aniseed Flavour Antacid is a liquid medicine used to relieve symptoms of acid reflux, heartburn, and indigestion. It contains a combination of sodium alginate, calcium carbonate, and sodium bicarbonate, which work together to neutralise excess stomach acid and form a protective barrier on top of stomach contents to help prevent acid from rising into the oesophagus.
Peptac works quickly to soothe the burning sensation caused by reflux and provides long-lasting relief, particularly after meals or at bedtime. The aniseed flavour makes it easier to take, especially for those who struggle with unpleasant medicinal tastes.
