Pyrocalm Control contains omeprazole 20mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces stomach acid and is used in adults for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation. It is not for immediate relief, and may take 2–3 days to work.
It should be taken once daily for up to 14 days. If symptoms persist or return, speak to a doctor or pharmacist.

Active Ingredient: Omeprazole 20mg
Other Ingredients: Lactose, maize starch, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, macrogol, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), and other excipients. Contains lactose.
It isn’t an instant heartburn remedy. Most people notice improvement after 2–3 days of once-daily use.

Yes — you can use antacids/alginates for breakthrough symptoms. Avoid taking other PPIs or H2-blockers at the same time.
You can take it with or without food. Taking it in the morning suits most people.

If you have swallowing problems, unexplained weight loss, vomit blood, pass black stools, develop jaundice, severe/persistent diarrhoea, or new/worsening symptoms (especially if you’re over 55).
