What is Replens MD used for?

Replens MD vaginal moisturiser provides long-lasting relief from vaginal dryness and the discomfort that comes with it. It is clinically tested and works as a long-lasting moisturiser, providing continuous hydration for up to three days from a single application.

Vaginal dryness is a very common condition that can affect women at any age. Symptoms of vaginal dryness can include:

• Dryness and a feeling of tightness
• Itching, burning, or irritation
• Soreness and discomfort
• Pain or discomfort during sex

It is most commonly associated with falling oestrogen levels during menopause, but can also happen during breastfeeding, after childbirth, or as a result of certain medications. Stress, intensive exercise, and hormonal fluctuations during the menstrual cycle can also contribute.

Replens MD is oestrogen-free, making it a suitable option for women who cannot or prefer not to use hormonal treatments.

How does Replens MD work?

Replens MD contains Polycarbophil, a bio-adhesive ingredient that binds directly to the cells of the vaginal wall on application. Once in place, it works in three ways:

1. Replenishing vaginal moisture
2. Helping rejuvenate existing dry vaginal cells
3. Supplementing the body’s natural lubrication.

Because the formula adheres to the vaginal tissue rather than simply coating it, the moisture it delivers is long-lasting. A single application provides continuous hydration for up to three days, making it practical to use just three times a week as part of a regular routine.

Unlike lubricants that provide temporary relief during sex, Replens MD is a moisturiser designed for ongoing use to maintain vaginal comfort over time.

Who can use Replens MD?

Replens MD is suitable for adult women experiencing vaginal dryness or discomfort. It is particularly well-suited to women going through menopause, as well as those who are breastfeeding or taking medications that can affect vaginal moisture.

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using Replens MD if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are unsure whether your symptoms are caused by vaginal dryness or another condition
• Are currently using other vaginal treatments
• Have experienced an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients

Stop using Replens MD and consult your doctor if:

• You experience vaginal irritation during use
• Your symptoms don’t improve or get worse
• You notice any unexpected symptoms

How to use Replens MD

Apply once every 3 days, preferably in the morning. Regular use helps maintain vaginal moisture and comfort over time.

1. Wash your hands before use.
2. Remove one applicator from its packaging.
3. Lie on your back with your knees bent or stand with one leg raised.
4. Gently insert the applicator into your vagina as far as is comfortable.
5. Squeeze the applicator to release the gel.
6. Remove and dispose of the applicator. Do not re-use.

Replens MD Ingredients

Purified Water, Glycerin, Mineral Oil, Polycarbophil, Carbomer Homopolymer Type B, Hydrogenated Palm Oil Glyceride, Sorbic Acid, Sodium Hydroxide.

Oestrogen-free. Hormone-free.

Replens MD Warnings

• For adult use only. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use.
• If vaginal irritation occurs, stop using immediately and consult a doctor.
• Store below 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
• If using the 35g tube, use within 30 days of opening.
• For intravaginal use only.
