Bettamousse 0.1% Foam contains betamethasone valerate 1 mg/g, a potent topical corticosteroid used to treat inflammatory scalp conditions such as psoriasis. Bettamousse works by reducing inflammation, redness, itching, and soreness associated with scalp psoriasis. Regular use helps prevent skin damage and reduces the risk of secondary infection caused by persistent irritation or scratching.

Bettamousse is used to treat inflammatory scalp conditions such as psoriasis. It relieves redness, itching, tightness, and soreness by suppressing inflammation and calming irritated skin.

Who Is Bettamousse 0.1% Foam Suitable For?

Bettamousse is suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Do not use Bettamousse if you:

• Are allergic to betamethasone valerate or any of the ingredients
• Have an untreated scalp infection
• Are using it on a child under 6 years of age

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Have a skin or scalp infection
• Have open wounds on the scalp
• Experience blurred vision or other visual disturbances
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Use other steroid medicines

How to Use Bettamousse 0.1% Foam

1. Shake the can well before use.
2. Turn the can upside down to dispense the foam.
3. Apply the required amount onto a clean surface (not directly into your hand).
4. Massage gently into the affected areas of the scalp.
5. Allow hair to dry naturally.
6. Wash hands immediately after use.

Do not wash your hair immediately after application. Let the foam work overnight or throughout the day.

Possible Side Effects of Bettamousse 0.1% Foam

Common side effects:

• Burning or pain at the application site
• Itching

Very rare:

• Skin thinning or stretch marks
• Changes in skin colour
• Increased hair growth or hair loss
• Worsening of psoriasis (including pustular psoriasis)
• Blurred vision

Long-term or excessive use may lead to hormonal effects or eye conditions such as glaucoma or cataracts.
