About Dovonex Ointment

Dovonex Ointment contains calcipotriol 50 micrograms per gram, a vitamin D analogue used in the treatment of plaque psoriasis. It works by regulating the excessive growth of skin cells that causes the thickened, scaly patches associated with psoriasis.

Dovonex Ointment belongs to a group of medicines known as anti-psoriatics and is designed to reduce redness, scaling, and skin thickening when used regularly as prescribed. Improvement is often noticed within the first two weeks of treatment, with scaling usually clearing before redness fades.
