This supplement is recommended by the UK Department of Health for children from 6 months up to 5 years of age. What Are Healthy Start Vitamin Drops Used For?

These drops are used to prevent vitamin deficiencies in growing children. Vitamin A supports healthy vision and skin; Vitamin C maintains the immune system and healthy tissue; and Vitamin D is vital for the absorption of calcium to build strong bones and teeth.

Who Are Healthy Start Vitamin Drops Suitable For?

The drops are suitable for children aged 6 months to 5 years. They are also suitable for vegetarians and are free from wheat, gluten, soya, milk, and egg.Do not use Healthy Start Vitamin Drops if:

• Your child is consuming more than 500ml of infant formula per day (formula is already fortified with these vitamins).
• The child is allergic to any of the listed ingredients, including banana flavouring.
• The child is already taking another multivitamin supplement containing Vitamins A, C, or D.

How to Use Healthy Start Vitamin Drops

1. Shake the bottle well before use.
2. Unscrew the cap and turn the bottle upside down.
3. Gently tap the bottom of the bottle until the drops form.
4. Catch exactly 5 drops onto a spoon to ensure the correct dose.
5. Administer directly or mix into a small amount of milk or food.

If mixing with food, ensure the child consumes the entire portion to receive the full dose.

Possible Side Effects

Side effects are rare when taken at the recommended dose. However, if you notice any of the following, stop use and consult a doctor:

• Signs of an allergic reaction (rash, swelling, or breathing difficulties).
• Nausea or stomach upset if taken on an empty stomach.
