About HistaHive 180mg Tablets

HistaHive Tablets contain fexofenadine hydrochloride 180mg, a modern non‑drowsy antihistamine designed to relieve symptoms of urticaria (commonly known as hives or nettle rash). These once‑daily tablets work by blocking the effects of histamine, the chemical released by your body during allergic skin reactions, helping reduce itching, redness and raised areas on the skin.

HistaHive Tablets are suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over and are available in a 30‑tablet pack for a full month’s supply:

Medication Name HistaHive 180mg Tablets
Active Ingredient Fexofenadine hydrochloride 180mg per tablet
Other Ingredients Tablet core: powdered cellulose, mannitol (E421), maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.
Tablet coating: opadry pink film-coating mixture containing hypromellose (E464), titanium dioxide (E171), macrogol 400, allura red AC lake (E129), and iron oxide black (E172).

What Is HistaHive 180mg Used For?

HistaHive Tablets are used to relieve itching, redness, swelling and raised rash caused by chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives). It helps reduce allergic skin reactions by blocking histamine released during these reactions.

Who Is HistaHive Suitable For?

HistaHive is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Do not take HistaHive if you:

  • Are allergic to fexofenadine or any of the listed ingredients.
  • Are under 12 years old.

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

  • Have problems with your liver or kidneys.
  • Have or ever had heart problems.
  • Are elderly.
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to Use HistaHive Tablets

  1. Check with a doctor or pharmacist if unsure about your dose.
  2. For adults and adolescents aged 12+: swallow one tablet daily with water.
  3. Take preferably before a meal for consistent effect.
  4. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Possible Side Effects of HistaHive

Common side effects may include:

  • Nausea

Less common or rare reactions may include fatigue, palpitations or allergic reactions such as rash and swelling. Seek immediate medical advice if severe symptoms occur.
