About Aspirin Dispersible Tablets 300mg

Aspirin Dispersible Tablets 300mg are a fast-acting analgesic used for the relief of mild to moderate pain, fever, and inflammation. These tablets are designed to be dissolved in a glass of water before consumption, allowing for quicker absorption and relief from symptoms such as headaches, migraines, toothache, sore throat, and period pains. They are also effective for managing muscular aches, rheumatic pain, and stiffness related to joint swelling.

Aspirin 300mg is suitable for adults and children over the age of 16. It is available in various pack sizes, including this convenient 32-tablet pack.

What Is Aspirin Dispersible Tablets Used For?

Aspirin Dispersible Tablets are widely used to manage common pain conditions and reduce high temperatures. By inhibiting substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation, they provide relief for:

  • Headaches and migraines
  • Neuralgia (nerve pain) and toothache
  • Sore throats and period pain
  • Rheumatic pain, sciatica, lumbago, and fibrositis
  • Muscle aches, joint swelling, and stiffness

Who Is Aspirin Suitable For?

Aspirin 300mg tablets are suitable for adults and children aged 16 and over.

Do not use these tablets if you:

  • Are allergic to aspirin, other NSAIDs, or any listed ingredients.
  • Have or have had a stomach ulcer.
  • Suffer from haemophilia or other bleeding disorders.
  • Have gout.
  • Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy or are breastfeeding.
  • Are under 16 years old (unless specifically advised by a doctor due to the risk of Reye’s Syndrome).

Consult your doctor before use if you:

  • Have asthma, dehydration, or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.
  • Are taking other medications, particularly blood thinners (e.g., warfarin), corticosteroids, anti-depressants, or treatments for epilepsy or gout.

How to Use Aspirin Dispersible Tablets

  1. Place the required dose (1–3 tablets) into a glass of water.
  2. Allow the tablets to fully dissolve before drinking.
  3. Take the dose every 4 hours as needed.
  4. Do not exceed 4 doses in any 24-hour period.

If you miss a dose, do not take a double dose to make up for it. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, seek medical advice.

Possible Side Effects

Most users do not experience issues; however, side effects can include:

  • Serious (Stop use and see a doctor): Signs of stomach bleeding (vomiting blood or black stools), allergic reactions (swelling of face/throat), or signs of brain bleeding (severe headache).
  • Less serious: Nausea, indigestion, increased bruising/bleeding time, nosebleeds, ringing in the ears, or dizziness.

Warnings and Precautions

  • Do not give to children under 16 due to the risk of Reye’s Syndrome.
  • Do not exceed the stated dose.
  • Avoid use during pregnancy, especially the last 3 months.
  • If you have lactose intolerance, consult your doctor as these tablets contain lactose.

Storage Instructions

  • Store below 25°C.
  • Keep in original packaging away from light and moisture.
  • Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
