Calpol SixPlus Sugar Free Sachets provide effective relief from pain and fever for children aged 6 years and over. Each convenient 5ml sachet contains 250mg of paracetamol, formulated as a strawberry-flavoured oral suspension. These travel-friendly sachets are ideal for on-the-go use, ensuring an accurate dose every time without the need for a measuring spoon.

Calpol SixPlus is specifically designed to be gentle on tummies while tackling more persistent aches and high temperatures associated with colds, flu, and childhood illnesses.

What Is Calpol SixPlus Sugar Free Used For?

Calpol SixPlus sachets are used to reduce high temperatures (fever) and relieve moderate pain. It is effective for treating headaches, toothache, earache, sore throats, and the general aches and pains associated with influenza and the common cold.

Who Is Calpol SixPlus Suitable For?

This product is suitable for children aged 6 to 12 years. It can also be used by adults and children over 12 who have difficulty swallowing tablets.

Do not use Calpol SixPlus if:

• The child is allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredients listed
• The child is taking any other paracetamol-containing products

Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child:

• Has serious kidney or liver problems
• Is taking medicines for epilepsy (e.g., carbamazepine) or TB (e.g., rifampicin)
• Has a severe infection or is underweight

How to Use Calpol SixPlus Sugar Free Sachets

1. Massage the sachet gently before opening to ensure the suspension is mixed.
2. Tear open the sachet and squeeze the contents onto a spoon or directly into the child’s mouth.
3. Ensure the correct dose is given based on the child’s age (see table above).
4. Wait at least 4 hours before giving the next dose.

Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor. Never exceed the stated dose on the pack; an overdose of paracetamol can cause serious liver damage.

Possible Side Effects of Calpol SixPlus

Side effects with paracetamol are rare, but may include:

• Allergic reactions such as skin rashes or swelling
• Unexplained bruising or bleeding
• Very rare but serious skin reactions (e.g., Stevens-Johnson syndrome)

If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, stop use immediately and seek medical attention.

Warnings and Precautions

• Contains Paracetamol: Do not give with any other paracetamol products.
• Sugar-Free: Safe for teeth; contains maltitol and sorbitol (may have a mild laxative effect).
• Allergens: Contains E218, E216, and E214 which may cause delayed allergic reactions.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Storage Instructions
