What Is Calpol Sugar Free Infant Suspension Used For?

Calpol Infant Sachets are used for the rapid relief of pain and fever in young children. It is effective for treating teething pain, toothache, sore throats, earache, and headache. It is also clinically proven to reduce high temperatures associated with colds, flu, and childhood infections, as well as fever following vaccinations in babies.

Who Is Calpol Sugar Free Infant Suspension Suitable For?

This product is designed for children aged 2 months to 6 years.

Do not use Calpol Infant Sachets if your child:

• Is allergic to paracetamol or any other ingredients listed
• Weighs less than 4kg or was born before 37 weeks (if aged 2-3 months)

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if your child:

• Has serious kidney or liver problems
• Is taking any other medicines containing paracetamol
• Has an intolerance to certain sugars (contains maltitol and sorbitol)

How to Use Calpol Sugar Free Infant Suspension

1. Massage the sachet to ensure the suspension is well mixed.
2. Tear the end of the sachet and pour the liquid onto a 5ml measuring spoon (or use a 2.5ml spoon for infants under 3 months).
3. Administer the dose directly into the child’s mouth.
4. Do not exceed the recommended dose for your child’s age group.
5. Leave at least 4 hours between doses.

If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, or if your child’s condition worsens, consult a doctor.
