What Is Corsodyl Alcohol-Free Mouthwash Used For?

Corsodyl Alcohol-Free Mouthwash is used to treat and prevent gum disease (gingivitis), which causes red, swollen, or bleeding gums. It is also highly effective for maintaining mouth hygiene when brushing is difficult, promoting healing after dental surgery, managing recurring mouth ulcers, and treating oral thrush or denture sore mouth (stomatitis).

Who Is Corsodyl Alcohol-Free Mouthwash Suitable For?

This product is suitable for adults and children aged 12+. For children under 12, consult a dentist or doctor before use. Do not use Corsodyl Alcohol-Free Mouthwash if you:

  • Intend to use it anywhere other than in your mouth

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

  • Experience persistent gum problems or irritation

How to Use Corsodyl Alcohol-Free Mouthwash

  1. Use twice daily, ideally in the morning and evening.

  4. Rinse the mouth thoroughly for approximately 1 minute.
  5. Spit out the liquid; do not swallow.

For mouth ulcers and oral thrush, continue use for 2 days after symptoms have cleared. For denture sore mouth, soak dentures in the mouthwash for 15 minutes twice daily.
