What Is Nurofen Pain Relief Caplets Used For?

Nurofen Pain Relief Caplets are used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever. They are effective for headaches, migraines, period pain, back and muscle pain, dental pain, and cold or flu symptoms.

Who Is Nurofen Pain Relief Caplets Suitable For?

Nurofen is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Do not use Nurofen Pain Relief Caplets if you:

• Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs
• Have had stomach ulcers, bleeding, or perforation
• Have severe liver, kidney, or heart problems
• Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Have asthma, high blood pressure, or heart problems
• Have a history of gastrointestinal disease
• Are taking other medications such as blood thinners, corticosteroids, or lithium
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding (especially during first 6 months)

How to Use Nurofen Pain Relief Caplets

1. Take with water, preferably after food to reduce stomach irritation.
2. Adults and children 12+ can take 1–2 caplets up to 3 times daily.
3. Leave at least 4 hours between doses and do not exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours.
4. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.
5. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 10 days (adults) or 3 days (12–18 years).
