What Is Panadol Night Used For?

Panadol Night is specifically used for the relief of nighttime pain such as headaches, migraines, backache, rheumatic and muscle pain, toothache, or period pain which is causing difficulty in falling asleep. The paracetamol acts as an analgesic to stop the pain, while the diphenhydramine induces drowsiness to help you rest.

Who Is Panadol Night Suitable For?

Panadol Night is suitable for adults and children aged 16 years and over.

Do not use Panadol Night if you:

• Are allergic to paracetamol, diphenhydramine, or any other ingredients listed
• Have already taken 4 doses of paracetamol during the day
• Are taking any other antihistamines or sleep aids
• Suffer from porphyria

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Have liver or kidney problems (including alcoholic liver disease)
• Have glaucoma, epilepsy, or prostate problems
• Have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or asthma
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are taking medications for anxiety, depression, or heart conditions

Ingredients

Other ingredients: Maize starch, starch pre-gelatinised, potassium sorbate (E 202), povidone, purified talc, stearic acid, hypromellose (E 464), titanium dioxide (E 171), lactose monohydrate, macrogol 400, triacetin, brilliant blue FCF (E 133), indigo carmine (E 132) and carnauba wax.

How to Use Panadol Night

1. Take the tablets 20 minutes before you intend to go to sleep.
2. Swallow two tablets with a glass of water.
3. Do not exceed the recommended dose of two tablets per night.
4. Only take this medication if you have not exceeded the daily paracetamol limit (4000mg) from other products.

Do not take for more than 7 nights in a row without consulting your doctor.

Possible Side Effects of Panadol Night

Common side effects:

• Drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision
• Dry mouth, nose, or throat
• Gastrointestinal disturbances (e.g., upset stomach)
• Coordination problems or restlessness

Serious side effects (Stop use immediately):
