Soolantra Cream is a prescription treatment specifically designed to manage the symptoms of rosacea, particularly the inflammatory lesions, pimples, and bumps associated with the condition. Its active ingredient, ivermectin, reduces inflammation and targets the underlying causes of rosacea symptoms, relieving redness and visible skin changes.
Soolantra Cream treats the papules and pustules of rosacea in adults. Papulopustular rosacea is a chronic skin condition that causes redness and visible blood vessels in your face, often accompanied by small, red, pus-filled bumps.

Soolantra Cream contains ivermectin, which works in two important ways to treat rosacea. It has anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce the redness, swelling, and irritation characteristic of rosacea.

Follow these instructions to apply Soolantra Cream:
Apply Soolantra Cream once daily, preferably at the same time each day. Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, and lips. If the cream accidentally gets into your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
The duration of treatment will depend on the severity of your rosacea, but most people use Soolantra for at least 3 to 4 months to see the full benefits. Continue using the treatment as prescribed, even if you start to see improvement.
If you see no improvement after four weeks of treatment (12 weeks), talk to your doctor or pharmacist about an alternative medicine or treatment option like Metrogel (Metronidazole).
Like all medications, Soolantra cream can cause some side effects. Most side effects are mild and occur at the application site.
