What Are Strefen Lozenges Used For?

Strefen Lozenges relieve sore throat pain, soreness, swelling, and difficulty swallowing. They work by reducing inflammation and providing analgesic relief when used as directed.

Who Is Strefen Suitable For?

Strefen is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over.

Do not use Strefen Lozenges if you:

• Are allergic to flurbiprofen or any other ingredients
• Have had asthma, wheezing, facial swelling, hives, or intolerance to NSAIDs
• Have gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding, or severe heart, liver, or kidney problems
• Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy

Consult a doctor before use if you:

• Have heart, liver, or kidney disease
• Have a history of stroke or bowel disease
• Have bacterial throat infections or tonsillitis
• Are pregnant in the first 6 months or breastfeeding
• Take other medicines including NSAIDs, aspirin, anticoagulants, diuretics, or medicines for high blood pressure

How to Use Strefen Lozenges

1. Allow one lozenge to slowly dissolve in the mouth.
2. Use every 3–6 hours as needed.
3. Do not exceed 5 lozenges in 24 hours.
4. Use for a maximum of 3 days.

Possible Side Effects

Common:

• Throat irritation
• Stomach discomfort

Uncommon:

• Rash or mild allergic reactions

Rare:

• Severe allergic reactions, gastrointestinal bleeding
