Sudafed Congestion & Headache Max Strength capsules are a powerful over‑the‑counter relief option for blocked sinuses, nasal congestion, headache, aches and pains caused by colds, flu or sinus pressure. These max strength capsules combine paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride and caffeine to relax swollen nasal passages, ease pain, reduce fever and help you regain energy during illness.

What Is Sudafed Congestion & Headache Max Strength Used For?

Sudafed Max Strength is used to relieve congestion of the nose and sinuses and reduce associated symptoms such as headache, fever, sinus pressure, and general aches and pains during a cold or flu.

Who Is Sudafed Congestion & Headache Max Strength Suitable For?

Suitable for adults and children aged 16 years and over.

Do not use if you:

  • Are allergic to paracetamol, phenylephrine, caffeine, or any other ingredient
  • Are under 16 years of age

Speak to a healthcare professional if you:

  • Have high blood pressure, heart or circulatory problems
  • Have thyroid issues, stomach ulcers, or are taking MAOI antidepressants
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Always read the enclosed leaflet before use.

How to Use Sudafed Congestion & Headache Max Strength

  1. Swallow 2 capsules with a glass of water.
  2. Take every 4–6 hours as needed.
  3. Do not exceed 8 capsules in 24 hours.

Do not chew capsules. Discontinue and speak to a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist beyond 3 days.

Possible Side Effects

Common:

  • Mild insomnia, nausea, dizziness
  • Increased heart rate or palpitations

Uncommon:

  • Dry mouth, nervousness

Rare:

  • Severe allergic reactions

Seek medical advice if you experience serious side effects.

Warnings and Precautions

  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Avoid other paracetamol or decongestant products while taking this medication.
