About Sudafed Sinus Ease Nasal Spray

Sudafed Sinus Ease Nasal Spray contains xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.1% w/v, a topical decongestant used to relieve nasal and sinus congestion. It helps clear blocked nasal passages and sinuses caused by colds, hay fever, or sinusitis, providing fast relief that can last up to 10 hours.

Sudafed Sinus Ease Nasal Spray is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over and is available in two pack sizes:

What Is Sudafed Sinus Ease Nasal Spray Used For?

Sudafed Nasal Spray helps relieve blocked noses and sinus congestion caused by colds, hay fever, or sinusitis. It works as a decongestant by narrowing blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and improving airflow.

Who Is Sudafed Sinus Ease Nasal Spray Suitable For?

This spray is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and older.

Do not use Sudafed Sinus-Ease if you:

  • Are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any listed ingredient
  • Are under 12 years old
  • Are taking MAOI antidepressants or had recent pituitary surgery

Consult a doctor before use if you:

  • Have high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, or thyroid problems
  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding

How to Use Sudafed Sinus-Ease Nasal Spray

  1. Remove the plastic cap and prime the spray by pressing down until a single spray is released.
  2. Hold upright, insert the nozzle into one nostril, spray while inhaling lightly, then repeat for the other nostril.
  3. Do not use more than three doses in 24 hours and limit continuous use to 7 days.

Possible Side Effects of Sudafed Sinus-Ease Nasal Spray

Common side effects:

  • Nasal irritation, dryness, stinging, or sneezing

Uncommon:

  • Nosebleeds

Rare:

  • Headache or nausea

Prolonged use may worsen congestion (rebound effect).

Warnings and Precautions

  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Limit continuous use to 7 days.
  • Contains benzalkonium chloride, which may cause irritation with prolonged use.
  • Stop use if irritation or persistent nosebleeds occur.

Storage Instructions

  • Store below 25°C, upright.
  • Use within 20 weeks of opening.
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.
