Telfast 180mg tablets are used to treat seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and itchy skin rashes or hives in adults and children aged 12 and over. These rashes (chronic idiopathic urticaria) can come with swelling and redness, and often appear without a clear cause. Telfast helps reduce itching, swelling, and discomfort caused by these allergic reactions.
Telfast contains fexofenadine hydrochloride, which is a non-drowsy antihistamine. It blocks the effects of histamine, which causes the symptoms of hay fever, like itching and swelling. The tablets work within one hour and provide relief for up to 24 hours.
Telfast is suitable for adults and children over 12. However, at Click2Pharmacy, we can only sell this medicine for use by adults over 18.

For a full list of side effects, check the Telfast tablets patient information leaflet.
If you notice any side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist, even if they are not listed here. You can also report side effects directly through the Yellow Card Scheme. Reporting helps to improve the understanding of this medication’s safety.

Telfast starts to provide effective relief of symptoms within 1 hour and lasts 24 hours.
Telfast is a non-sedating antihistamine, but drinking alcohol may increase the chance of drowsiness. It’s best to avoid alcohol until you know how the tablets affect you.
Telfast should only be taken during pregnancy if needed. It’s not recommended while breastfeeding.
You can take Telfast daily for as long as your symptoms continue. Always follow the advice of your GP or pharmacist about how long to use it.
Telfast can be used alongside hay fever nasal sprays to control hay fever. This can help control symptoms like sneezing, a runny nose, and itchy eyes more effectively. Speak to your pharmacist if you’re unsure which products to combine.
“Telfast is a good option if you’re dealing with allergy symptoms like itchy, swollen skin. It works quickly and usually doesn’t make people feel drowsy, so it is a popular choice of antihistamine”.
