Treathay tablets are used to manage and relieve symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis (hayfever) and other allergic conditions. These tablets help relieve uncomfortable symptoms like sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, runny nose, and itching of the nose or throat.
Treathay works by blocking the effects of histamine, a chemical released during an allergic reaction. Fexofenadine, the active ingredient in these tablets, prevents histamine from binding to its receptors, reducing allergy symptoms. This makes Treathay an effective solution for controlling and managing hay fever symptoms without causing significant drowsiness, allowing you to get on with your day.
Treathay starts working within one hour and provides 24-hour relief. Continue to use daily throughout the allergy season or as advised by your pharmacist.
Galpharm Treathay is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Treathay tablets can generally be used alongside allergy eyedrops and nasal sprays. Many people find that combining treatments provides better relief from different hay fever symptoms. However, always check with your doctor or pharmacist if you’re unsure about using multiple treatments together.
Treathay tablets can be taken with or without food. However, you should avoid taking them with fruit juices (particularly orange, grapefruit, or apple juice) as these can reduce how well the medication is absorbed. If you’re taking other medicines, speak to your doctor or pharmacist, as some medications may interact with fexofenadine.
Treathay works effectively for pet allergies by blocking histamine, the chemical your body releases when exposed to pet dander, fur, or saliva. This helps reduce symptoms like sneezing, itchy eyes, and a runny nose caused by cats, dogs, or other pets. Take one tablet daily for ongoing relief from pet allergy symptoms.
Treathay is effective at relieving itchy eyes caused by hay fever and allergies. The fexofenadine in Treathay blocks histamine receptors, which helps reduce the itching, watering, and redness. Most people notice improvement within 1-2 hours of taking the tablet, with effects lasting up to 24 hours.
