Ultra Chloraseptic is used for the fast-acting relief of sore throat pain. It is effective against discomfort caused by viral or bacterial infections, such as those associated with the common cold or tonsillitis. The anaesthetic action numbs the area locally, making swallowing significantly more comfortable.

Who Is Ultra Chloraseptic Original Spray Suitable For?

Ultra Chloraseptic is suitable for adults and children aged 6 years and over.

Do not use Ultra Chloraseptic Original Spray if you:

• Are allergic to benzocaine or any other listed ingredients
• Have a rare blood condition called methaemoglobinaemia
• Have difficulty breathing or noisy breathing
• Have severe difficulty in swallowing
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Have a severe sore throat accompanied by a high fever, headache, or nausea
• Are taking any other regular medications

How to Use Ultra Chloraseptic Original Spray

1. Remove the cap and rotate the swivel head nozzle 180 degrees so it extends beyond the bottle.
2. Before first use (or if not used recently), prime the pump by spraying 3 times away from your face into a sink.
3. Hold your breath and point the nozzle towards the back of your throat.
4. Apply the required number of sprays (3 for adults, 1 for children).
5. Do not inhale while spraying. Replace the cap after use.

Avoid eating or drinking immediately after use while your throat is still numb to prevent accidental biting of the tongue or choking.

Possible Side Effects of Ultra Chloraseptic Original Spray

Most people do not experience side effects, but some may occur:

• Temporary numbness of the mouth and throat (this is normal and shows the product is working)
• Occasional local irritation or a burning sensation

Rare but serious side effects:
