It combines three active ingredients that work together to reduce coughing, ease nasal blockage, and relieve allergy-type symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose.

The formula contains dextromethorphan hydrobromide to suppress coughing, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride to relieve nasal congestion, and triprolidine hydrochloride, an antihistamine that helps control sneezing, watery eyes, and runny nose.

This medicine is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over and is supplied as a clear red liquid in a 100ml bottle.

Who Is Actifed Multi-Action Dry Coughs Suitable For?

Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Do not use if you:

• Are allergic to pseudoephedrine, triprolidine, dextromethorphan, or any ingredient
• Have severe high blood pressure or heart disease
• Have glaucoma, overactive thyroid, or severe kidney disease
• Have diabetes or phaeochromocytoma
• Have lung disease
• Are taking MAOIs, certain antidepressants, or beta blockers
• Are under 12 years old

How to Use Actifed Multi-Action Dry Coughs

1. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
2. Measure the dose using the provided double-ended spoon.
3. Take two 5ml spoonfuls every 4–6 hours if needed.
4. Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
5. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours.

Stop use and seek medical advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
