Gaviscon Advance Mint Chewable Tablets are used to relieve heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion caused by reflux of stomach contents. They provide long-lasting relief by forming a protective barrier on top of the stomach contents to help prevent acid rising into the oesophagus.
These tablets are used for the relief of:
The tablets contain sodium alginate, which reacts with stomach acid to form a protective gel or “raft” that floats on top of the stomach contents. This raft helps prevent acid from flowing back into the oesophagus. Potassium bicarbonate supports the raft-forming action.
These tablets are suitable for adults and children over 12 years.

Active Ingredients: Each tablet contains sodium alginate 500mg and potassium bicarbonate 100mg.
Other Ingredients: Mannitol (E421), copovidone, macrogol 20,000, acesulfame K (E950), peppermint flavour, magnesium stearate, calcium carbonate, aspartame (E951 – a source of phenylalanine).
Important: Contains sodium and potassium. Speak to your doctor if you are on a restricted diet for either.
They relieve heartburn, acid regurgitation and indigestion related to gastro-oesophageal reflux (including after meals and during pregnancy).
1–2 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to 4 times a day (max 8 tablets in 24 hours). Chew thoroughly before swallowing.

Yes, but leave 2 hours between Gaviscon Advance and other oral medicines to avoid reduced absorption.
Yes — you can take this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding. If symptoms persist beyond 7 days, seek medical advice.
Yes. Each tablet contains sodium and potassium. If you’re on a restricted-salt or restricted-potassium diet, or have kidney/heart problems, consult your doctor or pharmacist first.
Very rare allergic reactions (e.g., rash, itching, breathing difficulty, anaphylaxis). Stop taking and get medical help if these occur.
