Gaviscon Advance Mint Chewable Tablets are used to relieve heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion caused by reflux of stomach contents. They provide long-lasting relief by forming a protective barrier on top of the stomach contents to help prevent acid rising into the oesophagus.
These tablets are used for the relief of:
The tablets contain sodium alginate, which reacts with stomach acid to form a protective gel or “raft” that floats on top of the stomach contents. This raft helps prevent acid from flowing back into the oesophagus. Potassium bicarbonate supports the raft-forming action.
These tablets are suitable for adults and children over 12 years.
