About LoviOne Tablet

LoviOne Tablet contains levonorgestrel 1.5mg, an emergency contraceptive used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. It works primarily by preventing ovulation and may also prevent fertilisation or implantation if ovulation has already occurred.

What Is LoviOne Tablet Used For?

LoviOne Tablet is used as emergency contraception to prevent unintended pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. It is not intended for routine contraception and should be taken as soon as possible after the event.

Who Is LoviOne Tablet Suitable For?

LoviOne Tablet is suitable for women of reproductive age.

Do not use LoviOne Tablet if you:

• Are allergic to levonorgestrel or any listed ingredient
• Are already pregnant

Consult a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Have severe liver disease
• Have repeated vomiting or diarrhoea shortly after taking the tablet

How to Use LoviOne Tablet

1. Take the tablet orally with water as soon as possible after unprotected sex.
2. It can be taken at any time of the menstrual cycle.
3. If vomiting occurs within 3 hours of taking the tablet, another dose may be needed.

Possible Side Effects of LoviOne Tablet

Common side effects:

• Nausea or vomiting
• Abdominal pain or cramps
• Headache
• Fatigue or dizziness
• Breast tenderness

Uncommon:

• Irregular bleeding or spotting

Rare:

• Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling

Warnings and Precautions

• LoviOne Tablet does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
• Do not use as a regular contraceptive method.
• Effectiveness may be reduced in women with higher body weight (BMI >30).
• Seek medical advice if your next period is more than a week late.

• Keep in the original blister pack to protect from moisture.
