TriRegol is a triphasic combined oral contraceptive pill used to prevent pregnancy. It contains two active ingredients: ethinylestradiol (an oestrogen) and levonorgestrel (a progestogen). Unlike monophasic pills, TriRegol provides three different dose levels of these hormones across the 21-day cycle, designed to mimic the natural hormonal fluctuations of a woman’s body. When taken correctly, TriRegol is over 99% effective at preventing pregnancy. It is commonly prescribed to women who require reliable contraception and may also help with regulating periods, reducing heavy bleeding, and alleviating menstrual cramps.
