What Is Xailin Night Eye Ointment Used For?

Xailin Night is used to manage “dry eye” symptoms such as itching, burning, and a “gritty” feeling. It is specifically formulated for night-time use because its thick consistency provides a stable protective layer that prevents the surface of the eye from drying out while you sleep, which is when tear production is at its lowest.

Who Is Xailin Night Eye Ointment Suitable For?

This ointment is suitable for individuals experiencing dry eye syndrome.

Do not use Xailin Night Eye Ointment if you:

• Are allergic to lanolin alcohols or any other listed ingredients
• Are wearing contact lenses (must be removed before use)

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Are using any other eye drops or eye medications
• Have a pre-existing eye condition or have recently undergone eye surgery

How to Use Xailin Night Eye Ointment

1. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly before use.
2. Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
3. Squeeze the tube gently to apply a thin line (approx. 1cm) of ointment into the pocket.
4. Blink several times to spread the ointment across the surface of the eye.
5. Repeat for the other eye if necessary and replace the cap immediately.

Note: This ointment may cause temporary blurring of vision. It is recommended for use just before sleep.

Possible Side Effects of Xailin Night Eye Ointment

While generally well-tolerated, some users may experience:
