Lamisil AT 1% Cream contains terbinafine hydrochloride 1% w/w, a fast-acting antifungal medicine used to treat common fungal skin infections. It targets the fungi responsible for conditions such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis) and jock itch/dhobie itch (tinea cruris). By disrupting the fungus at its source, Lamisil AT Cream helps relieve symptoms such as itching, redness, peeling, and irritation.

This cream is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 16 years and over and is supplied in a 15g tube.

What Is Lamisil AT 1% Cream Used For?

Lamisil AT 1% Cream treats fungal skin infections, including athlete’s foot and jock itch. It works by killing the fungi responsible for the infection, helping relieve itching, redness, scaling, and irritation. It is recommended specifically for athlete’s foot occurring between the toes.

Who Is Lamisil AT 1% Cream Suitable For?

Lamisil AT 1% Cream is suitable for adults and young people aged 16 years and over.

Do NOT use Lamisil AT Cream if you:

• Are allergic to terbinafine or any listed ingredient
• Are under 16 years old

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding (unless advised by a doctor)
• Use other topical medicines on the same area

How to Use Lamisil AT 1% Cream

1. Clean and dry the affected skin thoroughly.
2. Apply a small amount to the affected area and surrounding skin.
3. Rub in gently.
4. Wash your hands after use.
5. You may cover the area with light gauze, especially between toes or in the groin.

Recommended course:
Apply once daily for 1 week.
Healing continues even after you stop using the cream.

If symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks, seek medical advice.

Possible Side Effects of Lamisil AT 1% Cream

Common:

• Itching
• Skin peeling

Uncommon:

• Redness, burning, pain or irritation
• Skin lesions or scabbing
• Changes in skin colour

Rare:

• Dry skin
• Eye irritation (if accidental contact)
• Eczema or contact dermatitis
• Worsening of symptoms

Stop use and seek medical help if you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction such as swelling, hives, or difficulty breathing.

Warnings and Precautions

• For external use only.
• Do not apply to the face.
• Avoid contact with the eyes.
• Do not swallow.
• Contains benzyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, and stearyl alcohol which may cause irritation.

Storage Instructions

• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Store in the carton with the tube closed.
• Do not use after the expiry date.
