Numark Diarrhoea Relief Loperamide Instants contain loperamide hydrochloride 2mg, an anti-diarrhoeal medicine that helps slow down bowel movements. This makes stools more solid and less frequent, providing effective relief from sudden diarrhoea.

These fast-dissolving orodispersible tablets melt on the tongue and can be swallowed with saliva, making them convenient to take without water. They are used to treat sudden short-term (acute) diarrhoea in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. Adults aged 18 years and over with doctor-diagnosed irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) can also use them to relieve short-term diarrhoea associated with IBS.

Numark Diarrhoea Relief Loperamide Instants relieve symptoms but do not replace fluid and electrolyte replacement therapy.

Who Is Numark Diarrhoea Relief Suitable For?

Suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Do not use if you:

• Are allergic to loperamide or any ingredient
• Have acute dysentery (blood in stools with high temperature)
• Have bacterial bowel infections
• Have severe constipation, ileus or abdominal swelling
• Are under 12 years old

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

• Have liver problems
• Have AIDS and abdominal swelling
• Have diarrhoea lasting more than 48 hours
• Have severe dehydration
• Have chronic diarrhoea

How to Use Numark Diarrhoea Relief Loperamide Instants

1. Place the tablet on your tongue.
2. Allow it to dissolve completely.
3. Swallow with saliva — no water needed.
4. Take the recommended dose after each loose stool.

Always replace lost fluids with rehydration therapy where needed.
