About Buscomint Gastro-Resistant Capsules

Buscomint Gastro-Resistant Capsules contain peppermint oil 0.2 ml, a herbal medicinal product designed to relieve abdominal pain, minor gastrointestinal spasms, and bloating, particularly in patients with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). These gastro-resistant capsules help ease cramps and discomfort by releasing peppermint oil directly into the intestines rather than the stomach, minimising irritation.

Buscomint Gastro-Resistant Capsules are suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over (weighing at least 40 kg) and are available in soft capsule form:

What Is Buscomint Used For?

Buscomint is used to relieve symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome, including abdominal pain, cramps, and bloating. It works by delivering peppermint oil directly to the intestines, helping relax gastrointestinal muscles and reduce discomfort.

Who Is Buscomint Suitable For?

Buscomint is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older who weigh at least 40 kg.

Do not use Buscomint if you:

  • Are allergic to peppermint oil, menthol, or any listed ingredients
  • Have liver disease, gallstones, biliary disorders, or low stomach acid
  • Weigh less than 40 kg or are under 12 years old

Consult a doctor before use if you:

  • Have heartburn or hiatus hernia
  • Experience unexplained abdominal pain, fever, jaundice, vomiting, changes in bowel movements, constipation, weight loss, or blood in stools

How to Take Buscomint

  1. Take one gastro-resistant capsule with liquid 30 minutes before a meal.
  2. Swallow the capsule whole; do not chew, break, or crush.
  3. Repeat up to three times daily if needed.

Discontinue use and seek medical advice if symptoms persist beyond two weeks.

Rare side effects:
