About Cerelle Contraceptive Pill

Cerelle is a progestogen-only contraceptive pill (POP), commonly known as the mini-pill. Each tablet contains 75 micrograms of desogestrel, a hormone that reliably prevents pregnancy. Unlike combined contraceptive pills, Cerelle contains no oestrogen, making it an ideal option for women who cannot take oestrogen or who are breastfeeding.

Cerelle works by thickening cervical mucus to block sperm from reaching the womb, and in most women it also stops ovulation altogether. When taken at the same time every day, Cerelle offers highly effective pregnancy prevention.

Cerelle is available from Click2Pharmacy as a 3-month supply (3 Ă— 28 tablets).
