Aptamil Pepti 1 is used for the dietary management of infants diagnosed with cow’s milk protein allergy. It also contains LCPs (long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids) for brain and eye development.

Who Is Aptamil Pepti 1 Suitable For?

Aptamil Pepti 1 is suitable for infants from birth to 6 months as a sole source of nutrition, and from 6 to 12 months as part of a weaning diet.

Do not use Aptamil Pepti 1 if your child:

  • Has a confirmed galactosaemia or lactose intolerance (as it contains some lactose)
  • Is not under the supervision of a healthcare professional

Speak to a doctor or dietitian before use to ensure:

  • It is the correct formula for your baby’s specific allergy profile
  • You have considered all feeding options, including breastfeeding

Ingredients

Hydrolysed whey protein (from milk), Maltodextrin, Vegetable oils (Palm oil, Coconut oil, Rapeseed oil, High oleic sunflower oil, Sunflower oil), Galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), Calcium phosphate, Emulsifiers, Fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS), Fish oil, Potassium chloride, Magnesium chloride, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Iron, Zinc, Vitamin D3, Vitamin B12.

How to Use Aptamil Pepti 1

  1. Wash hands and sterilise all feeding utensils according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  2. Boil 1 litre of fresh water and leave to cool for 30 minutes (do not leave longer).
  3. Measure the required amount of water into the sterilised bottle (refer to the feeding guide).
  4. Use the provided scoop to add the correct number of level scoops. Do not heap or press the powder.
  5. Place the teat and cap on the bottle and shake vertically and vigorously for 25 seconds.
  6. Cool the bottle under a running tap and test the temperature on your wrist before feeding.

Once the tin is opened, use the powder within 4 weeks. Store in a cool, dry place.

Possible Side Effects of Aptamil Pepti 1

Because this is a specialized medical food, you may notice:

  • Changes in stool consistency or colour (stools may become looser or green/darker)
  • A different smell or taste compared to standard formulas due to the hydrolysed protein

If your baby develops a rash, persistent vomiting, or severe diarrhoea, contact your doctor immediately.

Warnings and Precautions
