Cymex Cream For Cold Sores is a fast-acting topical treatment designed to relieve the pain, itching, and discomfort caused by cold sores (herpes simplex). It contains a combination of lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic that numbs pain, and cetalkonium chloride, an antibacterial agent that helps protect broken skin from infection.
Unlike antiviral treatments, Cymex Cream works by soothing symptoms and preventing secondary bacterial infection while the cold sore heals naturally. It is most effective when applied at the first tingling or itching sensation.
Cymex Cream is suitable for adults and children aged 5 years and over and comes in a convenient 5g tube.
