About Nicorette Cools Icy Mint Nicotine Lozenges

Nicorette Cools Icy Mint Nicotine Lozenges are a form of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) designed to help relieve nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms when stopping smoking or vaping. Each lozenge slowly releases nicotine through the lining of the mouth, helping to reduce urges without the harmful toxins found in cigarettes or e-cigarettes.

Nicorette Cools Lozenges provide a refreshing icy mint flavour and are suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over. They can be used to completely replace smoking or vaping, to cut down gradually, or during situations where smoking or vaping is not allowed.

Nicorette Cools Icy Mint Lozenges are available in two strengths:

What Are Nicorette Cools Icy Mint Lozenges Used For?

Nicorette Cools Icy Mint Lozenges are used to help people stop smoking or vaping by relieving nicotine withdrawal symptoms such as cravings, irritability, restlessness, anxiety, and difficulty concentrating. They can also be used to reduce smoking gradually or during smoke-free situations.

Who Are Nicorette Cools Lozenges Suitable For?

Nicorette Cools Icy Mint Lozenges are suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Do not use Nicorette Cools Lozenges if you:

  • Are allergic to nicotine or any of the ingredients
  • Are under 12 years of age

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

  • Have heart disease, irregular heartbeat, or high blood pressure
  • Have stomach or oesophageal inflammation or ulcers
  • Have liver or kidney disease
  • Have an overactive thyroid or phaeochromocytoma
  • Have diabetes or a history of seizures
  • Are taking medicines such as theophylline, clozapine, or ropinirole

How to Use Nicorette Cools Icy Mint Lozenges

  1. Place one lozenge in the mouth.
  2. Allow it to dissolve slowly without chewing or swallowing.
  3. Move the lozenge occasionally from one side of the mouth to the other.
  4. Use whenever cravings occur.

Most people use 8–12 lozenges daily. Do not exceed 15 lozenges per day.

Possible Side Effects of Nicorette Cools Lozenges

Very common side effects:

  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Throat irritation
  • Hiccups

Common side effects:

  • Mouth irritation or soreness
  • Indigestion or stomach discomfort
  • Dry mouth or increased salivation
  • Cough or dizziness

Rare but serious side effects include allergic reactions, chest palpitations, shortness of breath, or seizures. Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if these occur.

Warnings and Precautions

  • Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.
  • Nicotine can be toxic if swallowed by children.
  • Contains polysorbate 80, which may cause allergic reactions.
