What Is The Eye Doctor Hot & Cold Pack Used For?

The Eye Doctor compress is used to relieve symptoms of MGD (Meibomian Gland Dysfunction), Blepharitis, and Dry Eye Disease. When used hot, it melts the thickened oils in the eyelid glands. When used cold, it helps alleviate the itching and puffiness associated with hay fever, allergies, and migraines.

This product is suitable for individuals suffering from chronic dry eyes or eyelid inflammation.

How to Use The Eye Doctor Compress

1. Heating: Remove the inner bag from the cover (optional for microwave) and heat for the specified time. Always test the temperature on your wrist before application.
2. Application: Fasten the adjustable strap around your head and relax for 7-10 minutes.
3. Massage: After heating, use your finger to gently massage the eyelids. For the upper lid, sweep downward; for the lower lid, sweep upward.
4. Cleansing: Wipe away any expressed oils or debris using a clean tissue or eyelid wipe.
5. Cold Use: Keep the mask in the freezer for at least 2 hours inside a protective bag before applying.

Possible Side Effects

• Temporary Blurring: It is normal to experience slightly blurred vision for a few minutes after the eyelid massage.
• Skin Redness: Minor redness may occur if the mask is applied while too warm.

Warnings and Precautions

• Do not exceed recommended heating times; overheating can damage the product and cause skin burns.
• Discard the product if it appears worn, damaged, or has been repeatedly overheated.
• Ensure the mask has returned to room temperature before reheating.

Storage and Care

• Store in the provided travel pouch in a cool, dry place.
• The outer cover can be hand-washed in warm water (do not use detergents).
