What Are Gel Tears Used For?

Gel Tears Protection For Dry Eyes is used to provide soothing relief for dry eye syndrome and an unstable tear film. When your eyes do not produce enough natural tears, they can become gritty, red, and irritated. This liquid gel acts as an artificial tear drop, lubricating and hydrating the eye surface to prevent further discomfort and irritation.

Who Are Gel Tears Suitable For?

Gel Tears eye drops are suitable for adults aged 18 and over.

Do not use Gel Tears Protection For Dry Eyes if you:

  • Are allergic to carbomer or any of the other listed ingredients
  • Are under 18 years of age

Speak to a healthcare professional before use if you:

  • Are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding
  • Wear contact lenses (lenses must be removed prior to application)
  • Are currently using other prescription eye drops or eye ointments

How to Use Gel Tears Eye Gel

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the eye gel.
  2. Twist off the cap, tilt your head slightly back, and look upwards.
  3. Gently pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
  4. Hold the 10g tube just above your eye and squeeze gently until the gel falls into the gap.
  5. Keep your eye open and move it around to ensure the gel coats the surface completely.
  6. Repeat the process in the other eye if required, and firmly replace the cap.

If you wear contact lenses, you must remove them before starting the treatment and wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in.

Possible Side Effects of Gel Tears
